Admin Assistant, Instructor of Piano, Comprehensive Classes Sub

Nancy Wilbert has worked at the Music Education Center since 1993.   Over the years, she enjoyed her full-time role as private piano instructor, comprehensive group classroom teacher, and administrator before recently embarking on semi-retirement.   She currently continues a small private piano studio and helps with MEC’s administrative duties.

Nancy began her music studies on piano as a young child, and later added band and choir.  Nancy’s professional certification is in early childhood education from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  Additionally, Nancy trained in various music education methods and supported and enhanced the development of MEC’s comprehensive music classes.  

In her spare time, Nancy loves playing piano, listening to music, gardening, cooking, reading, yoga, walking, and attending live concerts and theater.   She especially enjoys time with her sister, family, and great niece in the mid-west. And she loves traveling to San Diego to spend time with her daughter, Jessica, who is also a teacher.
