Instructor of French Horn, Piano & Organ

Carrie Blake joined the faculty at the Music Education Center in 2017 where she teaches private French Horn, Piano and Organ lessons. Carrie is a graduate of The New England Conservatory of Music in Boston in French Horn Performance, and was a freelance musician in the Greater Boston area until 2016 when she relocated to Virginia. Carrie studied French Horn with the members of the Boston Symphony Orchestra.  She has been a member of the Boston Philharmonic, Franklin Pierce University Faculty Brass Quintet in NH, Interlochen International Symphony Orchestra, Charlottesville Symphony, Charlottesville Horn Quartet and currently the Waynesboro Symphony. She has also been the Music Director/Organist at 3 churches in Southern New Hampshire. Carrie has been teaching private lessons for over 25 years, and enjoys teaching students of all ages.
