MEC Virtual Class Offerings
and Registration Information
Fall and Winter 2020
This semester, the MEC will be offering a range of new classes designed specifically for a virtual setting. These are a variation of the MEC’s inclusive curriculum focused on experiential learning, discovery, and general musicianship. You will also see some newer offerings that work especially well online, like songwriting, music theory, composition, music production and more. These are suitable for both younger and older students of all skill levels.
NO PHYSICAL ATTENDANCE IS REQUIRED for these courses. Hybrid classes with in-person attendance for group sections will be considered as the public health situation develops over the next few months.
In order to maximize students’ individual learning experiences, classes are being offered as a mix of group of and private instruction. Group classes will have a maximum enrollment of 4-6 students. Classes will meet in short sessions in order to make it easier for students to stay focused and engaged during each class session.
Please take a look at the courses below and contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions. Classes will start the week of October 12 and follow the public school calendar. Upon registration, a survey will be sent out to families so that courses can be scheduled according to student/family availability.
